Goebel Ray Baker, 67, of White City, Kentucky passed away on Tuesday, March 19, 2024, at Maple Manor Nursing home in Greenville., He was born in White City, Kentucky on Wednesday, August 1, 1956, to the (late) Boydie Baker and Gordy Mae Tirey Osborne.
He was a member of the Baptist faith. He enjoyed carpentry and refinishing furniture. Also, he loved all animals.
He had worked at Regional Medical Center as a Painter and was a farm hand.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister: Claris Faye Hicks.
He is survived by His sisters and brothers; June Vandiver, Ann (John) Baglin, Suzie Baker, all of White City, James (Lisa) Baker, of Richland, Kentucky and Edward (Tamara) Baker of White Plains, Kentucky.
Numerous nieces and nephews including Two special nieces; Autumn (Billy) Pride and Maegean (Brandon) Martin. One great niece; Ann-Mychal Martin, Three Great nephews; Kal-El Pride, Ryker Pride, Royce Martin.
Funeral services will be Saturday, March 23, 2024, at 11:00 AM at Reid-Walters Funeral Home in Earlington, KY with Rev. Dennis Mayfield officiating and burial to follow at Salem Church Cemetery in Morton's Gap.
Visitation will be on Saturday, March 23, 2024, from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Billy Pride, Brandon Martin, Kal-El Pride, Ryker Pride, Ann-Mychal Martin and Heath Baker. Honorary Pallbearer will be Royce Martin.
